This new course replaces the 2391-10 and is a Level 3 Award in the Initial Verification and Certification of Electrical Installations (2394-10)

A course for the skilled electrician who carries out Inspection and Testing as part of his/her job but requires to prove competence. The course is run over three days with a further half day for the practical assessment which is part of the certification procedure

This City and Guilds 2394-10 course is not designed to teach Inspection & Testing but builds on existing knowledge and requires a good knowledge of the wiring regulations.

A one hour 40 question multiple choice exam plus a 2.5 half hour closed book written examination in the evening of the exam date and an assignment which should take the form of a practical assessment. You will require BS 7671: 2008 and Guidance Notes No 3

(From 1st July the new amendments to BS7671: 2008 (AMD 1), has been published, these updates will be incorporated into the course although installations can be designed and installed by either standard until December 31st 2011 after which the amendments must be included in any new installations).

23rd and 30th January 6th February exam 9th Feb. (final registration date 30th December for the 2391-10 which will be the last one presented before introducing the new Inspection and testing courses 2394-01 and 2395-01).

Course date:

22nd and 24th March, 4th April (final registration date 27th February).

Written exam dates are: 4th April, 27th June and 5th December. Course dates will be announced shortly.

Course dates: 5th and 19th February, 4th March. - Exam 15th March. (Final registration date 30th January.

Cost of the course includes the examination and assessment fees but not publications.

A deposit is required at the time of booking this course, the balance of the fee has to be paid two weeks before the course commences. Receipts will be issued for payments received.
